We offer a special deal for a midweek break. Stay for the four nights of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for only $440 – and enjoy a saving of $60 off the usual rate! Conditions apply for this offer, please ask for details.

Bookings, Deposits and Cancellation Policy

Tariffs are for the cottage as a whole and include GST. Please note that the cottage can sleep a maximum of two people.

Regarding single night stays, we are more than happy to accept them – with some exceptions. On public holiday weekends (Victoria and NSW) and the weekend prior to Melbourne Cup Day, we ask for a minimum stay of three nights; during the month of April (when we’re in the middle of our chestnut harvest), we ask for a minimum stay of two nights. Sometimes, however, bookings can fall in such a way that a single night becomes available within these periods, so please ask if you'd like to stay for one night, we may be able to help.

Please note that, throughout the year, we are not always able to accept single night bookings for a Saturday night.

We request that you arrive after 3pm and depart before 11am.

Finally, please note that smoking is not permitted in the cottage.

A deposit of 50% of the total cost of your stay is payable within three days of booking to secure the dates you require. Payment is to be made via direct deposit or cheque (or PayPal by arrangement), but we can discuss this when you make your booking. Please note that we can accept only cash or cheque for payment of the balance owing for your stay, due at the time of your visit.

Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit the deposit unless we are able to rebook the cottage for the nights in question, in which case we will happily refund your payment. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund of the deposit.
