Bookings, Deposits and Cancellation PolicyTariffs are for the cottage as a whole and include GST. Please note that the cottage can sleep a maximum of two people. There generally is no minimum stay requirement, so you are welcome to visit us just for one night if that’s all you can spare - the only exception is on public holiday weekends when we ask for a minimum stay of two nights. Sometimes, however, bookings for long weekends can fall in such a way that a single night becomes available, so please ask if you'd like to stay for one night on a public holiday weekend, we may be able to help. We request that you arrive after 3pm and depart before 11am but these times can be flexible, so please feel free to ask. Finally, please note that smoking is not permitted in the cottage. A deposit of 50% of the total cost of your stay is payable within three days of booking to secure the dates you require. Payment is to be made via direct deposit or cheque (or PayPal by arrangement), but we can discuss this when you make your booking. Please note that we can accept only cash or cheque for payment of the balance owing for your stay, due at the time of your visit. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit the deposit unless we are able to rebook the cottage for the nights in question, in which case we will happily refund your payment. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund of the deposit.
